Concentrated flavours, fine balance and integrity of regional and varietal character are hallmarks of the Katnook Estate range.

Katnook Estate Merlot has abundant classic varietal characters of sweet ripe plums, red currants and forest floor earthiness. A maturation period of approximately 26 months in barriques, predominantly French, has contributed sweet vanillin characteristics that harmoniously combine with rich fruit in a velvety, smooth palate. Fine, soft tannins extend through a lingering finish.
This style is delicious now with new season lamb or cassoulets and will age for 8-10 years.
