Influenced by the region’s cool climate and rigorous fruit selection, Katnook Estate has made an elegant Riesling style since 1980. Although Riesling is seldom found in Coonawarra, Katnook Estate believes the area’s cool climate is ideal for growing grapes with the potential to create this classic style.

The Katnook Estate Riesling shows floral, citrus aromas with hints of perfumed talc, cinnamon and cloves. The zesty palate offers intense fruit flavours such as quince, lime and spice with a fine, lingering acid finish.

This style has great ageing potential. Cellaring for up to 10 years will reward with a toasty overlay and added flavour complexity.
