Penfolds Bluestone Ten Year Old Tawny is a tribute to 150 years of winemaking excellence housed within the bluestone cellar walls of Penfolds Magill Estate. The combination of extended barrel maturation and Penfolds tradition of excellence has resulted in a port with exceptional fruit richness, mellow aged complexity and great length of flavour. The port is a multi vintage blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and Shiraz wines. Individual components are aged in small oak casks for an average of ten years before being assembled to create a most satisfying style of fortified wine. The fermenting juices are treated to doses of brandy spirit, enriching the wines and preserving the natural fruit sugars and characters.
